My Natural Hair Journey

Image
It all started in the summer of 2019 when I visited a hairdresser and at the time I didn’t know what the word transition meant. All I knew was I was tired of getting relaxers. (Plus the woman that did my hair moved) My hair was a frizz ball and I was left out to discover what to do with my hair. My starting point in August of 2019 Relaxed Hair Throughout the months I had seen all the steps on how to transition hair No heat. I had a tough time not dealing with the blowdryer

I have encountered people from various locations, including Nigeria, Thailand, and Russia. 2. Acceptance- Personally, I believe African Americans are the most accepting people out there! At some colleges, it can feel like nobody cares or maybe you feel like an outcast, not at an HBCU. There's something for everyone. 3. Networking- Pe
